This dressed-up troll was painted in oil on Ampersand Gessobord (prepared wooden panel). The inspiration came from folk tales and the Rococo era, something I’m very fond of. The work on this oil painting took a long time and many layers of paint, and I absolutely loved the process. This painting is a personal favorite. :)

The artwork measures 30.5×40.6 cm (12×16 inches) and needs either a frame or to be placed on a picture ledge on the wall.
