Om mig

My passion for drawing begun when I was a child, and my special interest was horses. I spent as much time as possible in the stable, and when I was at home every waking hour was dedicated to books and magazines about horses and drawing these magnificent animals. My biggest role model was the Swedish comic book writer/illustrator Lena Furberg, and I copied her animal character style for my own drawings.

But I had also another interest besides horses: my love for fantasy. My aunt Ann taught me how to draw happy, cute trolls, and nordic folklore, fairytales and the illustrations of John Bauer had a huge impact on the way I created art. When I read the books about Narnia, and the Belgariad by David & Leigh Eddings, I was sold on the fantasy genre for all eternity.

Later, my creativity shifted a bit to pop surrealism, but it goes well hand in hand with fantasy. Fairytale creatures, head footers and animals all together create a wonderful, magical world that I never get tired of exploring.
